FCC History

FCC was founded in 2004 by Miss Amanda McGillivray. Amanda taught in Korea for over four years. She has taught at hagwon, elementary and university level. She also held the position of Cultural and Language Ambassador at Soon-chun Hyang University in 2003. During this time she studied and passed courses in Korean language, politics and history. While in Korea, Amanda trained foreign teachers and helped design and implement teaching materials and curricula. As Professor of English at Andong National University she continually came top of student evaluations and created a practical teaching programme for Korean hagwon teachers. Amanda is passionate about Korea and passionate about teaching. She understands the importance of having enthusiastic, dedicated teachers in Korea and is in an ideal position to prepare teachers for life in Korea. FCC provides an honest, reliable and quality service to both institutes and teachers. It aims to develop long term relationships with reputable institutes in South Korea.
