FCC are proud to anounce a partnership with ILS Nottingham.  ILS Nottingham is recognised as one of the area's leading providers of English Language training. We are pleased to recommend and offer you a discount on the following Summer Camps:

Summer School with Activities (Homestay or Residential)

Mornings - English Classes - 3 hours - Monday to Friday

Afternoons - Sporting and Cultural Programme - Monday to Thursday

Saturdays - Full day excursion

ILS Nottingham attracts students from all over tyhe world, which means they will meet students from a variety of cultural backgrounds, all with the same aim - to learn English.  The Summer School with Activities is offers homestay acommodation or campus accommodation. 

Course Features

  • Lively and varied programme of English
  • English language tuition every morning in mixed nationality classes
  • 1 full and 1 half day excursion per week
  • Three afternoons of sport and cultural activities
  • Welcome pack and introduction to Nottingham
  • First day placement test
  • End of course certificate

Key Features

  • Hours: 15 hours English tuition per week
  • Level: Beginners to Advanced
  • Minimum Age: 14+
  • Start Date: Any Monday during Summer
  • Course Duration: Minimum 2 weeks
  • Class Size: Average 12 (maximum 15)
  • School Dates: between June and August

Summer School Excursions and Activities

During Summer School the students' experience of England is enriched by getting to know the country, the people and the culture.  Due to the central location of Nottingham we are able to offer a diverse and exciting activity programme for Summer School and throughout the year.

Full day excursions include:

  • Stratford-upon-Avon
  • Alton Towers - Britain's largest theme park
  • Warwick
  • Bath
  • Manchester - including Manchester United FC

Half-day excursions include:

  • Sherwood Forest - the home of Robin Hood
  • Lincoln - mediaeval market town
  • Newstead Abbey - family home of Lord Byron
  • Chatsworth Country Park & Stately Home - Beautiful English estate with many attractions
  • Galleries of Justice - a unique award winning interactive themed experience
  • Tales of Robin Hood - Medieval themed experience based on the life of Robin Hood
  • Ice-skating
  • Bowling
  • Football
  • Tennis
  • Volleyball
  • Watersports

Various social activities take place in the evenings e.g. film evenings, quizzes and discos

Groups

ILS welcomes groups of all ages from all over the world into it's Summer English Langauge programmes.  Family groups are very welcome and we can provide tuition for all members
