Why do you want to teach overseas?: 
While initially looking into teaching abroad, the most appealing aspect was the notion I could travel the world without being a ‘traveller’. The idea of actually integrating into these foreign societies: their peoples, traditions and experiences, is a much more appealing proposition, in my personal opinion, than simply seeing a tourist’s snapshot in a short period of time. As for teaching, the draw has always been apparent in my life. In my school days, I would often help the younger students with their reading skills; as a way of repaying the help that had been given to me by so many selfless people throughout my childhood. Teaching abroad is appealing as it promises the possibility of teaching a whole new generation about our Western culture; while, more importantly, learning about theirs in a time while the world becomes increasingly globalised and more interdependent than ever. Living and teaching abroad seems to be not only an incredibly rewarding career, but also provides the opportunity to learn additional languages and traditions which will soon be intertwined with my own native culture.
Why are you a suitable candidate for teaching overseas?: 
One of my strongest traits, and one which will undoubtedly be helpful for teaching abroad, is my passion. No matter the task, I always put my heart and soul into it, until the job is done. This will be helpful for teaching English, as it will mean everyday begins with a commitment and hunger to help every single pupil to the very best of my ability. Moreover, I am a hard worker and someone unwilling to give up, I believe this tenacity will ensure the best outcomes for all students, regardless of their ability level. Another part of my personality which I believe proves my suitability for teaching is my unwavering loyalty. For me one of the most important things in a person is to know they are reliable and to know they are loyal; I strive to show these traits in all things I do. In my opinion this is important for a teacher, especially abroad, as it ensures that no student will be left behind both in terms of learning and class atmosphere. Loyalty to the students will mean that I always serve them to the best of my abilities, providing the best results both for themselves and for me.
