Supporting Information
Why do you want to teach overseas?:
I am desperate for a role in which I can directly impact the lives of others instead of sitting in an office. I have a passion for teaching, and ever since I left my role with Macintyre, I have not felt the same sense of fulfilment as I did when teaching. I want to expand my horizons and learn the customs and traditions of different cultures, and to be able to combine this with paid teaching would be a dream come true.
Why are you a suitable candidate for teaching overseas?:
I have experience in classroom management and excelled in this area when working with children with severe learning disabilities. I have the passion and determination to plan for lessons thoroughly and deliver lessons with enthusiasm to ensure the lessons are engaging, and that every child gets the most possible out of every lesson. I am taking French lessons myself, and have been for a year, and so I am learning the techniques that are necessary when teaching language first hand. As a person I would describe myself as creative, patient and adaptable - I feel that these characteristics will stand me in good stead when teaching aboard.
