Work Experience
Position 1
Job title:
Center Manager
Dates of employment:
1/2/2016 - 16/9/2016
Summary of role:
During the Summers of 2014 and 2015 I worked with Malvern House supporting their student population and offering tours and training and information and for them about living and working in Ireland. My duties ranged from event and tours management to ensuring visa documentation was correct, supporting students to secure jobs and accommodation. I then became the Summer camp coordinator during both summers. In 2016 I became the center manager for three separate summer camps for English foreign language students. Through my work with Malvern House I have learned leadership skills as I have been responsible for a team of individuals. I have improved on my organisational skills and have definitely become extremely detail orientated having to not only secure venues, transport and food but micromanage the minutes of activities for a two month long camps.
Position 2
Job title:
Research Officer
Dates of employment:
19/9/2016 - 19/5/2018
Summary of role:
As a member of the Communications and Marketing team of Ireland’s largest youth organisation I have gained an insight into the operations of a large NGO with over 400 employees. I am currently the only person in the organisation with a responsibility for the funding of the organisation in my contract, which has an annual turnover of €22 million. This has resulted in working to a deadline on high priority proposals worth between €5,000 to €1.2 million. I have refined my research and writing skills through compiling research pieces on areas from youth mental health, university drop out rates, the effect of Brexit on youth work and similar studies. I have written addresses and information packs for politicians and have been involved in the organisation of events with expenditure of €50k +. Working with Foróige has reinforced that I need to pursue a career that can make a difference in others.
Position 3
Job title:
Women's Artistic Gymnastics Coach
Dates of employment:
11/1/2017 - Present
Summary of role:
While coaching I have learned patience, resilience, planning and the importance of being passionate and enjoying what you do.

Why are you a suitable candidate for teaching overseas?:
I am prepared to move from home and am excited for a new opportunity. I am independent, self motivated and interested in exploring a new culture.
Additional Information:
I have studied a Bachelor of Laws, which I am currently finished and pending my final degree transcripts. I have a hunger for learning, which is why I chose to complete my Global TEFL UK course. I get excited by learning new things and enjoy the prospect that I could instill that in someone else. I'm starting to take single modules for a Masters degree in International Development as I hope that is where I will eventually end up, working with those most in need. I'm teaching myself French and German through Duolingo on a daily basis and have a background in German. I have worked in an English Language school in Dublin, running social programmes, facilitating job workshops and organising and managing Summer Camps.
