Supporting Information:

Why do you want to teach overseas?:

I would like to become an EFL teacher in South Korea because I find Koreans very delightful, warm-hearted people who I enjoy being around because their shy tendencies upon interaction reflect my own. I am also fascinated by the diverse cityscapes and natural environments of the country and I strive to have many wonderful experiences in Korea and learn more about myself along the way.

Why are you a suitable candidate for teaching overseas?:

I am interested in teaching English as a foreign language because I have the character traits and motives needed to be a teacher who achieves personal growth of its students. . I am an overly friendly, sensitive human being who has a genuine care for those around them. and I believe that kindness is key when approaching children who reflect your behaviour when socializing with and reacting to others. My altruistic character urges me to try and give young people the best start in life and my cheerful and relaxed presence in a classroom environment would render healthy cognitive processes in children. I believe my shyness makes me favorable in a teaching profession because it makes me aware of the children who participate less and thus I would ensure each child is treated as an individual and given the attention they deserve. Ultimately there are too many teachers who do not recognize the importance of truly understanding the student they are teaching and do not attempt to match the expectations they have with development of the student and I hope to be part of the solution to this underlying problem.

Additional information:

Wanting to move out to South Korea and begin my EFL teaching career ASAP. I have all the required documentation to apply for the E2 Visa and I am prepared to be potentially subjected to the 14 day quarantine and bear the burden of quarantine costs by myself if necessary.
