Why do you want to teach overseas?:

Teaching overseas has been a aspiration of mine from the time I finished high school. It has been a challenging journey since then, but I have not lost sight of my aspiration to teach. I want to teach overseas because of the opportunity to gain experience in teaching in a culture different to my own, as well as to travel to a part of the world that I am yet to encounter. Lastly, the appeal of achieving what I set out to accomplish, that is immersing myself into an educational and social culture cannot be understated.

Why are you a suitable candidate for teaching overseas?:

I possess the necessary qualifications to do so, but it is more than that. I feel that I have something to offer students, with regard to my experiences in English. I have studied the language extensively and have developed a deep appreciation for it, an appreciation that I hope to share with my prospective students. Through a compassionate, patient, understanding and flexible attitude, I think that I will be able to pass my knowledge onto students in a coherent and engaging manner.
