Supporting Information:

Why do you want to teach overseas?:

I want to teach overseas for multiple reasons, firstly i see working abroad as a stepping stone for my future teaching career back here in England. Teaching abroad will give me an insight into teaching whilst acquiring invaluable experience at the same time. In addition, living and immersing myself within the Korean culture and way of life is extremely appealing to me as i have always been by fascinated by Asia, especially Korea and Japan. Furthermore, the competitive salaries and relatively cheaper standard of living is another incentive of wanting to teach abroad as I am an at an age where i do need to start planning for the future. Finally, being located in the region will give me the chance to visit other countries that I have always wanted to visit, such as Japan, Vietnam, Philippines and Malaysia.

Why are you a suitable candidate for teaching overseas?:

I believe i would be a suitable candidate to teach abroad due to my level of maturity, and the multiple life skills that i possess, all acquired through living by myself and being extremely independent from a young age. Furthermore, i have demonstrated in the past that i am capable of living abroad for a prolonged period of time, if anything i feel more at home when being abroad than being here in England. Finally, i have no close relations and direct dependents relying on me in England, thus making the transition from home to Korea extremely straight forward.
