Supporting Information:

Why do you want to teach overseas?:

I want to teach overseas because I firmly believe that if I did not study what I did, I would have studied teaching. Additionally, since I was young, I have always been interested in learning more about other cultures and languages. I figured teaching English overseas would be a good way to immerse myself in an unfamiliar environment, learn more about different cultures whilst being able to empower non-English speaking individuals.

Why are you a suitable candidate for teaching overseas?:

I am a suitable candidate as I have experience as an academic skills advisor, where I assisted students in proof-reading and structuring their assignments (essays and reports), as well as volunteering at primary schools to assist young students in reading. I also have experience baby-sitting young children and love being around kids. Additionally, I am well organised, polite, well-mannered and try to be as efficient as possible whenever completing tasks.
