Supporting Information:

Why do you want to teach overseas?:

Since I taught first-year fashion students in 2014, I have had a growing desire to become a teacher. I love working with kids and it gives me a sense of purpose knowing that I can be part of the development of someone’s future.

Why are you a suitable candidate for teaching overseas?:

I would consider myself a very creative, caring and emotional intuitive person. As I have work in diverse teaching fields in South Africa from teaching under privilege ladies in rural communities in South Africa, whose first language is Xhosa, to crochet and make money from a craft skill to first-year fashion students at university level. I believe that I have the right savvy to understand children and young learners and bring out the very best in them to learn a new skill. I also hope that my creative skills can be put to good use once in the classroom to help learners understand the concepts better helping to learn faster and hopefully enjoy learning as much as I do.
