Supporting Information:

Why do you want to teach overseas?:

Overall there are so many reasons why I would want to teach overseas! Some are being able to experience a new culture, learn new skills and by giving back by helping others grow. After talking to Amanda from Flying Cows I was convinced this was an opportunity I do not want to miss.

Why are you a suitable candidate for teaching overseas?:

Coming from an ethnic background and a diverse community, I have grew up with an appreciation of various cultures. I have experience in working with children through being a mentor and being involved in a sports leadership programme, where I would lead groups of children through various sport activities. I also have experience working with patients in a pharmacy. My experience in teaching children is not extensive. Though I do have qualities such as the drive and willingness to learn and pick up new skills, and to be patient and understanding, which I believe makes me a suitable candidate.

Additional information:

I do have over 10 years experience in babysitting my nephews and nieces since I was around 12 years old, one of whom does have mental health issues. In babysitting my younger family I have learned a lot about being patient, understanding that all children are different. I have not only seen them grow, but myself grow from it as well.
