Supporting Information:

Why do you want to teach overseas?:

I have always been interested in pursuing a career in teaching after completing my BA degree, however, I wanted to live and work abroad before working as a teacher in the UK, in order to broaden my horizons and gain more life experience. Therefore, this programme provides the perfect opportunity for me to gain an excellent teaching experience and also live abroad.
I have always been interested in living with other cultures and learning how other cultures live, as my degree focusses on this largely. I would love to experience living and working in another country.

Why are you a suitable candidate for teaching overseas?:

I am a suitable candidate to teach overseas firstly because I believe myself to have a large amount of previous experience working with kids, particularly in teaching environments. It is something I am interested in pursuing as a career, eventually, and so as previously mentioned this would provide me with an excellent experience to combine my passion of working with kids with my dream to work abroad.

I am also a suitable candidate because as previously mentioned I have worked abroad last summer, for three months, not only did they experience reaffirm to myself that working abroad is definitely something I would like to pursue in the future but also that I am well suited to living abroad in terms of the fact that I did not find myself getting homesick as many people on the programme did.
