Why do you want to teach overseas?:

I’ve always had a passion for working in an industry that benefits people and the community as a whole. I think teaching English as a foreign language is an extremely rewarding job to have and it can benefit students immensely to be able to speak more than one language. It’s known that people who are bilingual often have more opportunities. To be able to see my students thriving, achieving their goals and enjoying learning a language that could greatly benefit them in the future is one of the most rewarding things I can imagine. With regards to my own personal growth, I flourish with change and I’ve always know I wanted to live abroad at some point, therefore the opportunity to teach English abroad seemed to combine both my passion for working with others to achieve their best selves, and my own determination to experience new opportunities and cultures.

Why are you a suitable candidate for teaching overseas?:

I would say that I am a very patient person with strong communication skills honed by my time working as a therapist. I believe this is extremely important when working with students of all levels as they need to have someone to work with them, not against them. I would say I also have a strong sense of self-discipline, I love planning! I’m also an adaptable person which I know is important when taking into consideration students different learning styles and the often unpredictable nature of a classroom. I’m very passionate about things that I believe in as well.
