Why do you want to teach overseas?:

I have been a retail manager for 10 years now and I am looking for a new adventure where I can use my skill set in a new enviroment which enables me to help others and give back. I would love to move to South Korea to teach so I can learn as much about the country as I can, as I teach English to those around me. South Korea as a country has always fascinated me, and I would love the oppporunity to live and work there for a year to fully experience and undesrtand the culture.

Why are you a suitable candidate for teaching overseas?:

I have a vast experience in retail management and my strongest skill set is my people skills, I have had consistent feedback over my career that my commitment and dedication to developing people is second to none. I take great pride in the team I work with and I measure my success in theirs, training is my real passion and I would love to use these skills to teach on a bigger scale. I feel my soft skills are ideal for teaching and I have trained in groups upto 165 with great success. I have also had a lot of experience since moving to London in teaching our new recruits English, I have hired countless associates that showed amazing potential and experience but knew little to no English, I then made it my mission to help them develop their understanding of the language.

Additional information:

I am a passionate and driven individual that really enjoys working hard, however I have got to a point in my career that I don’t feel I am on the right path. I have always wanted to teach but never had the oppotunity outside of training within my roles. I would love to be given the opportunity to teach in South Korea to start giving back and become a more active part of society, I believe I have the skill set and the personality to help me achieve this.
