Why do you want to teach overseas?:

Having previously taught overseas in Laos and Indonesia, I am very eager to broaden my horizons further and to have the chance to work with different people from around the world.

Why are you a suitable candidate for teaching overseas?:

My experiences of teaching and Laos and Indonesia have enabled me to become more empathetic and patient when working with new people cross-culturally. In addition, these experiences have greatly enhanced my interpersonal and leadership qualities, and I believe that these are key assets for any teacher looking to be successful when working abroad. Being patient and placing myself into the shoes of other learners has also allowed me to forge close friendships, as well as respect from the students I have previously worked with. I really enjoy being able to work with, and help others with their education, and it gives me great joy knowing when I have made a positive impact on somebody else’s life.
