Supporting Information:

Why do you want to teach overseas?:

Having fallen into the monotonous way of city life in London, I’m ready for a change. And so is my partner! We both love the sun (I’m Australian) so looking for some heat and sunshine while travelling and earning a quid or two while at it sounds like a great adventure. The opportunity to travel and teach as well as expand my horizons is too good to pass up.

Why are you a suitable candidate for teaching overseas?:

I have been working every summer for the past 6 years with Pilgrims Young Learners summer camps between my regular jobs. And have found I really enjoy working with kids, I have a certain joy de vivre and that transfers over to the students as I think I am likeable and approachable. While teaching and working with kids I’ve found I am well rounded and have been told my classes and activities are enjoyable. I was a PE teacher and ex professional Rugby player, so I am well rounded, I can teach Kids English while keeping them fit and active!
