Supporting Information:

Why do you want to teach overseas?:

I love experiencing other cultures. In high school, I played an active role in the school’s diversity club that brought together other nationalities through food, dance, song, and other means. Although my career path has taken me through different means, I love to teach. I’ve had the pleasure of tutoring friends and I’ve had the opportunity to work with younger students. Both experiences were extremely rewarding and enjoyable.

Why are you a suitable candidate for teaching overseas?:

As mentioned above, I love to teach and I love to work with younger people. I enjoy giving guidance, I absolutely adore public speaking and I feel a sense of joy in watching people grow. I am very upbeat and enthusiastic, given my past in social media work, this was essential. I also love getting involved!

Additional information:

During my time at Western University, I co-founded a charity-based club. I acted as the Vice President for three years. I led meetings, I organized many events and spoke on behalf of the club and even acted as a liaison between our club and the local charity to whom we donated our profits.
