Why do you want to teach overseas?:

I have a passion for teaching, having previously taught English whilst on a placement year in Spain, and am enthused at the opportunity to further develop these skills in a new environment.

I am also excited at the prospect of living abroad again, and would relish the chance to immerse myself in a totally different culture and way of living.

Lastly, I have always been fascinated by Korea, its history and its culture, and would love the chance to experience the country firsthand.

Why are you a suitable candidate for teaching overseas?:

As mentioned above, I have previous teaching experience, having taught English to both children and adults whilst living in Spain as part of my undergraduate degree.

This experience endowed me with the skills necessary to build rapport with people from different cultures and backgrounds, whilst also giving me an insight into the unique challenges that teaching presents.

It also prepared me for the challenge of living abroad whilst adjusting to a new culture and language, something that I believe will be a major advantage during this process.

I have excellent interpersonal skills, a strong work ethic and an outstanding academic background, and I believe that these attributes will serve me well should I be successful in my application.
