Why do you want to teach overseas?:

Teaching overseas will be a completely new challenge for me, for a number of reasons. I would hope to gain a lot from the opportunity, personal and professionally. Living in a non-English speaking country, I would be looking to learn the language, which is something I’ve always wanted to do as it will complement my International Relations Masters. I’ve never lived in a country that does not have English as its primary language, so I feel the challenges this presents will give me some serious personal growth, broadening my mind and understanding of the world through experiencing a different country and culture, this is what excites me the most.

Why are you a suitable candidate for teaching overseas?:

I believe I am a good candidate for teaching overseas because I am enthusiastic and hardworking person. I relish taking on new challenges, and the opportunity to teach in Chile is incredible exciting for me, so if I was given the opportunity I know I would give my all to it. I take a strong work ethic with me into any roles or jobs I find myself in, but although I work hard, I do always make sure to find enjoyment in whatever I do, find a purpose in my work, which encourages me and inspires me further. This is something I know that would benefit me in a teaching role. I see myself as a fun and sociable guy, easy to get along with, this is also a feature of my personality which I feel makes me a good candidate.
