Supporting Information:

Why do you want to teach overseas?:

I enjoy teaching a lot; at both of my previous jobs where I became a supervisor, training was my responsibility, and it was something I really liked doing. Something else that I love is traveling and learning about other cultures. Combining the two seems like a no brainer. Through teaching abroad, I feel like I would be doing something important while also doing something I’m good at and enjoy doing.

Why are you a suitable candidate for teaching overseas?:

I have quite a bit of experience with children in a professional sense. In college, I had an internship at the local recreation center, coached youth soccer, worked at a before school kid’s program, and lead the summer program. Additionally, I nannied for a few different families for over 6 years. I’m flexible, adaptable, and willing to continue learning. Also, I love experiencing new things, so being able to live and experience a brand new culture would be great.
