Flights

The Flying Cows Korean team will email your flight E-ticket and arrival details as soon as they have them
Remember to check:

  • Flight dates
  • Baggage allowance
  • Check in times and terminals

Usually you will be met at the airport by a representative from your school. Prior to departure Flying Cows will email you some contact numbers in Korea including your school and the Flying Cows Korean Office. Please make sure you write these numbers down and have them to hand on arrival in Korea.  Do not store them in your phone as your mobile phone may not work in Korea (even though your phone company says it will).  If you have any problems at the airport  head to the nearest information desk and call one of these numbers.

Remember to give your family and friends the contact details of Flying Cows. When you arrive in Korea please keep in touch with us and let us know how you are getting on. If you have any concerns or worries please do not hesitate to contact us.

Arrival in Korea

When you arrive in Korea it can be quite disorientating / alarming / awe inspiring / exciting / scary (delete as appropriate!). Everything is different – the weather, the language, the culture, the food. Our advice is to relax and take it all in. You will be surprised at how quickly you feel at home.

In your first two weeks in Korea you should have the following:

  • A medical check (your school will take you to the hospital to have this done)
  • An Alien Registration card (your school will take you to your local immigration office to get this)
  • A bank account (your school will help you open an account)
  • A copy of your contract with both your and your director's signatures and your start date (you may have to ask for this)
