Supporting Information:

Why do you want to teach overseas?:

The two times I have been to Korea have been amazing, and I definitely plan to live in Korea for many years. I want to gain more experience teaching kids, so that I can grow as a teacher, and help the kids speak English more confidently. I loved learning about Asia in college, and I definitely want to delve deeper into the culture while I am working there.

Why are you a suitable candidate for teaching overseas?:

I am very hardworking and enthusiastic when it comes to teaching. Learning a new language, even as a kid, is very challenging, so I want to help the kids have fun, all the while practicing their listening and speaking skills. I am very good at adapting to the culture, especially since a working environment in Asia is going to be different than ones in America, but I am able to work towards an understanding, and with my experience abroad, I am also able to live without too many difficulties with the culture in my personal time. Overall, I am more of a hands-on teacher, with creative activities being one of my strong suits, and I love to have fun in the classroom!

Additional information:

I mostly have experience with younger kids when it comes to teaching, but I would also love to try teaching older kids as well if it’s possible. I would love any opportunities to grow as a teacher at this time!
