Supporting Information:

Why do you want to teach overseas?:

I’ve always loved to travel and being able to help others learn the English language whilst seeing the world sounds like the best job in the world. I believe that teaching is one of the most valuable careers around, and as a person who has always excelled in leadership and teaching roles previously, I think that being able to teach overseas will give me more experience, confidence, and the chance to learn about other cultures. Having worked abroad before in a place that cultural exchange is the top priority, I would love to experience those new cultures in a more authentic way.

Why are you a suitable candidate for teaching overseas?:

I am enthusiastic, driven and patient, with a natural affinity for teaching. Having worked with children aged between 2 – 15 years old in the past, I have developed the necessary skills to command a classroom and keep children engaged. Working in Walt Disney World, I came into contact with people from all around the world, some of who spoke little to no English, which meant I was able to show my patience and consideration whilst we worked through their order together. I think that I would excel in a teaching role overseas.
