Summary of role:

Supporting Information:

Why do you want to teach overseas?:

I am very interested in working in South Korea as an English Language teacher. My passion for encouraging learning and sharing both my own culture and exploring one different from my own are the core motivations for my application to yourselves.

I have taught English as a second language to children and teenagers in various settings during my experiences both in the UK and abroad. I would use my heightened skills in adapting to student needs, flexible lesson planning and my ability to engage with various age groups to be a great asset to any teaching staff I was a part of.

Why are you a suitable candidate for teaching overseas?:

As I have worked internationally before and am a naturally curious, passionate and driven person I feel I would be able to readjust to challenges and new environments swiftly. I also really enjoy immersing myself in the language, lifestyle, and traditions of other cultures.

Additional information:

From my time studying both creative writing and publishing I have a unique interest in grammar and how the English language is constantly evolving to meet the business, social and cultural needs of the day and would be eager to incorporate that awareness and interest into lessons I create. These interests also provide me with an interesting unusual design and finding innovative ways to present target language and engage the students in learning with engaging and interesting class designs.

Thank you for taking the time to review my application. My CV further highlights my qualifications and abilities I’d bring to a teaching role. I hope you consider giving me the chance to schedule an interview with you so that we can further discuss how I can contribute to your school and the English department.
