Why do you want to teach overseas?:

I possess the desire to teach in Korea as its culture, history and language has been of interest over the last few years. Getting the opportunity to go to and stay in Korea is one thing, but the possibility of helping students garner the ability to speak a new language is something truly special!

Why are you a suitable candidate for teaching overseas?:

My experiences to date have equipped me with the skills necessary to teach a classroom of students. At various stages, I have demonstrated enthusiasm and effective communication skills by taking positions of responsibility and leadership: this has fostered and built up my confidence, as well as my organisational and public speaking skills. During my year as a Sociology Society committee member, I worked with the committee to develop a space where everyone could feel included and comfortable. Additionally, as a Patrol Leader for my local Scouting group, I performed various administrative tasks and looked after my patrol. Both these experiences show that I am committed to the professionalism of the role while maintaining a fun and interactive arena for others to enjoy.
I am extremely passionate about providing students with a quality educational experience and, in this position as an EFL teacher, I would seek to use my skills to help and support students flourish and have bright futures.
