Supporting Information:

Why do you want to teach overseas?:

I have wanted to live abroad since I was young, and a dream of mine has always been to live and work in Asia. I am fascinated by Asian culture; I’ve visited Korea two times and each time has only made me want to experience living and working there more than the last. After finishing my master’s degree, I decided I didn’t want to jump headfirst into the profession that I studied for just yet, I’d like to take at least a year out to teach English abroad in South Korea.
My goal would be to fully experience living independently abroad and hopefully become fluent in Korean so I can live in South Korea permanently. I’m very motivated to learn more of the language and improve my skills so I can more closely communicate with both students (outside of the English-speaking classroom), and colleagues.

Why are you a suitable candidate for teaching overseas?:

I have teaching experience at a primary school and have been told I am professional, hard working and great at forming bonds with the students. I am so passionate about getting a job teaching abroad, and I will carry that passion through my time in this career.
I am a lover of languages, and I know how fulfilling learning a language can be. I have a great knowledge of the English language and would make an excellent native English teacher for students of any age.
