Supporting Information:

Why do you want to teach overseas?:

All my life I’ve wanted to live abroad. When I was younger, my family and I moved around a lot and visited many countries. I loved traveling and it taught me so much about the world and those who live in it. Teaching abroad would allow me to pass on all that I have learned in my life and help the students prepare for life beyond the desk. I’ve spent years working with and teaching students from 5th grade to college-age and loved every second of it. I just want the chance to do what my teachers did for me, dream big and work harder.

Why are you a suitable candidate for teaching overseas?:

Teaching is an enormous responsibility. Everything that we say and do will impact the students. It is our job to make sure they are prepared for the world ahead and can face said world with their heads held high. Through all my years as a student, I am so grateful to all of my former teachers for all that they have taught me about not just history and English but also myself. I’ve had the unique experience of working with all types of children from babysitting and tutoring when I was in high school, working as a camp counselor in college, to helping college students navigate the world around them and how to stay sane and productive during a pandemic. Teaching English in Korea would be a dream come true and allow me to repay what was given to me and pass on all I’ve learned.

Additional information:

Thank you very much for this opportunity and I hope all is well with you during these uncertain times.
