Work Experience

Position

Job title: ESL Teacher
Employer: “Cram” schools/Individual Tutoring/Online Platforms
Date of employment: Please see resume
Summary of role:

*Planned my own lessons based on the school’s objectives.
*Planned my own lessons based on the individual student’s needs and goals (tutoring and Exam Prep)
*The online platform had pre-planned lessons, so I needed to bring my own personality and style

Supporting Information:

Why do you want to teach overseas?:

I am a teacher and a traveler. I have taught ESL in classrooms in Taiwan and Czechia and I’ve taught in many countries while teaching online. Nothing excites me more than going to new country and exploring their cultures and getting to know their people….and eating their food!

Why are you a suitable candidate for teaching overseas?:

I have experience teaching overseas. I understand the struggles that ESL teachers go through in a new country. While some applicants may “think” they will enjoy it, I “know” I love it!

I have been teaching the last few years online, and I really miss the dynamic of the classroom and eager to return.

Additional information:

I have lived in a few countries the last few years, so I will need some guidance on documents, i.e criminal records etc.
