Summary of role:

Working for Jungle Mayhem taught me many skills including Assisting, planning and leading a range of activities which often involved being creative, positive and thinking on the spot. I also promoted language development through storytelling and reading, as well as maintained a safe learning and playing environment for the children. In addition, I encouraged and developed social skills within the groups by encouraging the children to be patient and understanding of others. This role taught me skills I would take to all my other future roles.

Why do you want to teach overseas?:

I have wanted to do a placement year since I was studying in University but never got round to applying. Given the pandemic and circumstances I think now is the perfect time to apply.

Why are you a suitable candidate for teaching overseas?:

I am reliable, flexible and hardworking. Although I may not have experience in teaching I will put in the hours, effort and resources as other qualified teachers and am more than willing to learn.
