Why do you want to teach overseas?:

I have a lifelong passion of learning languages, having picked up several conversationally whilst on holiday. I have travelled to over 20 countries and 47 cities and can certainly say that meeting people from different backgrounds and cultures and learning about a country’s history is by far my favourite thing to do. I have always been fluent in English, and find it easier to communicate with non-native English speakers due to my friendly and understanding approach. I am a people person wherein I always will try to help and understand them as much as I can. I want to take this opportunity to build on my experience and be able to demonstrate my passion for teaching and learning language. I sincerely believe we are so privileged to learn and teach language and each other’s culture with ease of accessibility for most. I want to create the same opportunities for those that find it beneficial to learn English in this modern world.

Why are you a suitable candidate for teaching overseas?:

I have been involved with volunteering for kids for a few years now. Along with my passion for language and culture, my ability to connect with people and be a supporting team member pushes me to be a better tutor. I have tutored kids of various ages, in a 1-to-1 setting before and even occasionally as a group. I do not panic or struggle when challenges arise and always seek to find the best solution in the calmest way possible. I am an avid language learner and love working with people of all ages, kids and adults alike. This is why I think I’ll be the ideal candidate to teach overseas.
