Much of my work and volunteer experience surrounds education and working in particular with children. Most of my teaching experience is in the aquatic and art industry. I have had many strong role models and leaders who have supported me to embrace opportunities that have developed my personal skills in leadership, communication and teaching through out high school, post secondary and in my personal life as well. I value education, learning and the sharing of knowledge and craft as a means to encourage the world and individual to grow. I have a passion for sharing and collaborating with the communities around me through movement, art and knowledge. Supporting Information:

Why do you want to teach overseas?:

I am interested in teaching over seas because I believe it will be a good opportunity for me to grow, expand my knowledge and be engrossed in a new culture. I also believe that teaching in a country over seas where my native language is the majority will be a humbling experience which will further challenge me to think in new ways.

Why are you a suitable candidate for teaching overseas?:

I grew up in a small town in a rural part of Canada surrounded by nature and people who all knew me and my family. I have spent the past couple of years living in Vancouver and now presently in the Netherlands in large cities where I have had to learn to find and build new communities around myself in order to feel at home. I value my relationships with the people around me above everything else and I enjoy taking time to listen and learn about what people have to say. I believe that my love and reality of growing up in a small community and my ability to take this feeling with me around the world is what makes me a unique and suitable candidate for a position teaching over seas.

Additionally I feel that my love for art, design and creating allows me to bring an open mind and enthusiastic approach to teaching which makes me a unique and strong leader.

Additional information:

In conclusion I would like to say that I would be honour and excited to participate and be considered as a possible candidate to teach over seas. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.
