Supporting Information:

Why do you want to teach overseas?:

With a strong interest and fascination with other cultures, I feel like teaching overseas would be a perfect way to expand on my experience in a school setting. Having traveled through some of Asia, I’m drawn to Korea as it has a strong work-ethic and respects education. Because of this I feel like it is an opportunity to grow and improve my abilities teaching, while simultaneously teaching me so much. Korea’s culture seems vibrant and distinct, and is the perfect backdrop for cross-cultural exchange.

Why are you a suitable candidate for teaching overseas?:

I’m extremely passionate about both teaching and learning. I see the value that language learning can bring, not only as something theoretical, but as a life-long practical skill, which can make available new and exciting paths previously closed off to the learner. By understanding the importance that learning English can have, I will strive to be understanding and clear in my approach to delivering accurate and efficient teaching to the students. I wish to continue developing in teaching to deliver the best tuition possible. Teaching overseas would be a welcome challenge.
