Why do you want to teach overseas?:

Teaching overseas would be a great experience, as you get to experience a completely new culture whilst teaching and passing on valuable life skills. Personally, I think experiencing a new place would allow me to grow as a person, and progress in my personal development as it is pushing me out my comfort zone and will allow me to gain new perspectives that would not be accessible in England. Additionally, teaching overseas would give myself an insight into leaning parts of a different language – as well as sharing my English knowledge with children. Therefore, can relate and encourage to the children about leaning a new language! Furthermore, teaching overseas allows me to expand my network, and become clearer about possible future career opportunities.

Why are you a suitable candidate for teaching overseas?:

I have extensive experience working with children and teaching as shown in my past job roles, both at primary and secondary level. Therefore, provides me with invaluable experience of how to plan a lesson, execute educational activities and communicate with children. Also, I have experience myself of learning a new language, as I learnt Spanish at GCSE level – therefore, provides me with an insight of how the students will be feeling. Additionally, I have a skill set that is suitable for teaching, such as great verbal and written communication skills, great organisational skills and a bubbly and encouraging personality! All of which would be suitable and make me a great candidate for teaching overseas.
