Supporting Information:

Why do you want to teach overseas?:

I love to travel and have new experiences. I love trying new foods, learning about countries’ histories, and meeting new people with completely different backgrounds and cultures to my own. This is why I loved my year in Vietnam and would love the opportunity to immerse myself in a new country with new people, flavours and stories.

Why are you a suitable candidate for teaching overseas?:

I absolutely love teaching and have a great passion for it, and my ESL experience and my TEFL equip me well to understand the particular struggles of second language students. I have a calm, gentle and caring nature, and so am sensitive to and understanding of children’s individual needs. This helps me tailor lesson plans and classroom activities to fit the students and ensure that they get maximum benefit from their time in the classroom. It also helps me gain their favour, ensuring that they enjoy class and look forward to our lessons. I also have lot of patience and a good sense of humor to add excitement and laughter to our lessons.
