Work Experience

Position

Job title: Actor
Employer: Crealy Adventure Park
Date of employment: October 18th 2019 – December 24th 2019
Summary of role:

I was an actor for Halloween and Christmas events in a family park in Exeter, Devon. My role in October during Halloween was to interact with families and escort them to the attractions of Halloween. The last time I worked was at Christmas as an Elf and my role was assisting by helping and instructing guests to make Reindeer food to take home during the Christmas holidays.

Supporting Information:

Why do you want to teach overseas?:

I’ve always loved adventure and getting out of my comfort zone, ever since I was very young I’ve had a travel bug as my mum was a travel and tourism teacher in a local college in the town I currently live, I can adapt to almost anywhere that is unfamiliar and different.

Why are you a suitable candidate for teaching overseas?:

I believe I have the traits of being a good teacher as I am patient and empathetic to those who struggle in some aspects of learning and want to help make a bright future for students and make learning English fun and unforgettable.

Additional information:

I have previously done volunteer work experience in a secondary school for kids from the ages of 11-16 with learning and behaviour difficulties, it was an eye-opening experience which taught me about having patience for those with different needs and abilities in learning.
