Supporting Information:

Why do you want to teach overseas?:

Teaching abroad would provide me with an array of cultural experiences whilst enabling me to using my skills in teaching to help children. It would provide me with an opportunity for personal development through understanding of different cultural practices which would translate to my future development as a teacher. I am passionate about teaching and learning and hope to translate these skills to a different culture where both the students and I can develop as learners.

Why are you a suitable candidate for teaching overseas?:

I have a wide range of skills which I like to integrate into my practice. As an avid musician and fitness enthusiast I like to embed these skills into my teaching to provide children with a learning experience beyond the curriculum. My experience in tutoring has enabled me to support many students through both formal examinations and in the learning of basic skills which open up a world of opportunities for children. Undertaking a Masters in Education has provided me with knowledge in many disciplines within education including special needs and curriculum development. Teaching overseas would enable me to apply this theoretical knowledge beyond the British classroom.
