Supporting Information:

Why do you want to teach overseas?:

A friend recently told me that he had made the decision to tech English overseas and during the conversation I was immediately hooked by the prospect of such an appealing, interesting and worthwhile avenue.

Why are you a suitable candidate for teaching overseas?:

I have always enjoyed the process of conveying and explaining new concepts, ideas and thoughts to other people, such as friends, classmates and colleagues. I also very much enjoyed teaching flatmates at university how to play guitar, drums and bass, and found that cultivating the patience that was often required helped me as a person in other ways. I believe that teaching English abroad is the natural progression of my enjoyment of these parts of life, and I would relish the chance to play an important role in the development of children’s path to learning the English language. I am polite, respectful, tactful and patient, and I believe I can connect and foster a rapport with people of all ages and backgrounds.
